The developers of Hay Day go great lengths to constantly update the game to keep it free of video game cheats. Most of the ideas listed below are tips or hints on getting more gold, diamonds and other resources.
Getting more diamonds
Diamonds are the most valuable currency in Hay Day. There are ways to get more diamonds and even free diamonds.

If you synchronize Facebook with the game, you'll get diamonds everytime you go up a level. Players also get five diamonds for logging in using Hay Day, discovering a movie ticket and watching a trailer for another video game.

Once you reach level 24, start mining for diamonds. If you open the mine and blast using TNT, you’ll get diamonds every few explosions.

Watch for purple tickets that appear near the newspapers they deliver to the farm. By clicking these tickets, gamers can claim diamonds.

Players collecting all 78 achievements through the three levels are given a ribbon and diamonds upon completion of each level.

Players reaching level 27 should go fishing for diamonds. Look for the boat that needs repairing and fix it. Head out on the water and get 1-3 diamonds, depending on the size of fish you catch. Bronze fish get one diamond, silver get two, and gold get three diamonds.

Farmers needing a little gold use this Hay Day video game tip, but beware - this trick will only work once. Head to the Road Shop; once there, buy a new slot and sell 5 pieces of wood. Once another farmer buys the wood, you’ll receive 500,000 gold.

Gain Experience Points Fast

Once gamers reach level 15, picking apples from trees on the farm will give 7 experience points.

Look for advertisements in the paper about apple trees and visit the farms in question. Find shaking apple trees on these farms, click on the sign, and gain experience points.

Aspiring farmers needing to save money on tools and equipment use this: Have a friend sell items for less in advertisements and then buy the goods. Resell the items for a profit. Just make sure you buy the items before someone else.

When you have enough vouchers you can buy your cat or dog, but before you do this you must buy a cat or dog house. Your cats and dogs will need feeding, milk for cats and bacon for dogs. Every time you feed your pet you will get 30 xp. They only feed every few hours. Apart from the xp they are mainly a decorative purpose for your farm; for some players, this will be a personal achievement getting each individual pet.
Finding Missing Crops
If you have run out of a certain type of crop, go into your friend's tab and select Greg. Enter his roadside shop and buy everything that is there. Sometimes there is even some tools there for a very low price. If Greg does not have what you want, visit other farms and go thought their newspapers and buy what you need in bulk (like 10 wheat for $x).

Provided you have an available slot, you can sell stuff at the roadside shop as often as you want. You can only get a free advertisement in the newspaper every 30 minutes.
Wood Panels
These can either be found in the treasure chests or you can buy them with your diamonds. A good place to find them is when you are harvesting crops as they will just appear and go into your barn.

Most people will just check and move on when the ad changes and the “feeding frenzy” begins. That means not many people will wait to see if the store owner is back filling.
If you have the time, poke around in the paper…don’t just go to the ads for the things you’re interested in because many times the BEST stuff is hidden within!

- Any sugars or dairy products will go super fast, always do the max amount. … Pies and cakes, sell at the max amount.
- Jams, juices, and ice cream go very fast at top price. Feed will go very fast at top price also.
- Goat milk, sell at top price also. Raspberries, blackberries, apples, cherries, cocoa, coffee beans, you can sell at top price or slightly below and they will also go fast.
- Crops that are typically used for feed, sell at slightly below top price.
- Potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, lavender and pumpkins will all sell at top price or slightly below pretty well.
- Ore and bars sell extremely fast.
- Building and land materials go quickly, always max the price.
- Stick around as the shoppers come by. As they buy things up…BACK FILL! Take full advantage of the ad.
- Smart advertising: fill your stand and advertise as often as you can and even if its just one product simply because people will start to see you as a power seller, so they’ll start stopping by more.
- Slower selling items do well if sold in LOW doses, (1-2 in a stall,) and GROUPED together in adjoining stalls. Think Walmart strategies :-)
- Pretty stores sell better!!! Either group things together in stalls or arrange them so it’s pleasing to the eye.

Plant 17+ wheat and when it is ready to collect, collect all of it really fast and you will see that 1 screw, bold, tape or other building material will be collected along with the wheat. When your silo gets full, make sure you have enough room in your silo to hold all the extra wheat or use it to make bread. About 12 baskets in the roadside shop would work for 25 crops. You will notice more supply's in your barn and a lot more money very soon!

- Zoom into the mine
- Leave the game
- Turn on “Airplane Mode”
- Go back to your Hay Day farm
- Mine with the shovel 2-5 times
- If you don’t get any diamonds, stay in the game until the disconnect appears. Then leave game and hard close it. Turn airplane mode off - And you still have all your shovels, so you can try for diamonds again.
- Once you get the diamond and you want to KEEP IT, you HAVE to go BACK to settings and QUICKLY turn off airplane mode before the disconnect appears. Also, you have to work in small quick batches. Mine 3-5 times and stop to wait for disconnect.. OR go to settings to turn off airplane and save the games progress.
